Report Day 2: 26/4/22

 

26/04/22, TUESDAY

The second day started at 9 am with the morning assembly by the Group 1 (Veda Vyas) participants with great vigor and team spirit. After that Smt. Rumma Raina gave an awareness to the participants to stay healthy and safe. It was followed by the session by Smt Archana Srivastava on the topic of librarian’s responsibilities as per NEP2022. Through her interactive session, she explained the duties of librarian and how to manage school libraries. The second session was conducted by the guest speaker Dr. Sunil MV, Librarian, Institute of Management Development, Mysore. In his lecture, he explained different aspects and new trends on the topic “Application of Social Media and Library Services”. After lunch, the third session was conducted by Smt. Rumma Raina on the topic gender sensitization in the teaching learning process in the schools through which she ignited the mind of the learned librarians of different regions. The fourth session was by Sri. DK Singh, Librarian ZIET Mysore in which he discussed the criteria for assessment of in-service course. He instilled the seriousness among the librarians through his talk. At last lottery was conducted for the demo classes. Finally, Sri. Mujib Rahman added more knowledge about how to create a blog.
