29/4/22, 

The fourth day started with the morning assembly by Group 3 (Ranganathan group) which was conducted with intense devotion and full team spirit. The assembly program was appreciated by the course coordinator as well as by the resource persons. The first session was by Prof. N. S Hari Narayana (Department of Library and Information Science, University of Mysuru). His lecture was on the topic “Trends in cataloguing” in which he clearly discussed AACR2 and its latest version RDA. The second session was by the resource person Shri. Mujib Rahman who imparted more knowledge on Google sites and how to host your library websites. In the third session, Shri M Rajendran (Teacher Associate, English ZIET Mysore) discussed the topic on effective communication skills in English in which he conversed the importance of good communication skill for a librarian.  The day ended with a hands-on session of digital library creation by Shri. Mujib Rahman.  The participants created their own digital library using Google sites.
