LOVE, RUBY LAVENDER

I have just finished a wonderful book! Love, Ruby Lavender is a realistic fiction book by Deborah Wiles. I think this book would be the right reading level for Classes Four to 7 graders. Ruby Lavender is a ten year old tomboy who lives in Halleluia, Mississippi. Her best friend is her grand mothe, Eula Dapplevine. Over one busy Summer ,Ruby steals chickens, Eula goes to Hawaii and they both have to deal with the loss of Ruby`s grandfather in a fatal car accident. Ruby`s arch enemy. Melba June Latham also causes trouble. We learn about this events through letters between Ruby and Eula. I truely loved reading this book.. The characters are humerous and the letters between them are interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone with a sense of humours and who cares about family Best wishes for all. Madam
